West Indies fined for slow over-rate

West Indies have been fined for slow over-rate after the first Test against Pakistan in Jamaica, the International Cricket Council confirmed on Wednesday (April 26). Jason Holder and his men were found one over short by Chris Broad, the match referee.

“In accordance with Article 2.5.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to minor over-rate offences, players are fined 10 percent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time, with the captain fined double that amount,” the ICC said in a release
