Australia’s 300 professional cricketers agreed to ‘adopt’ the Heads of Agreement that was signed on Thursday (August 3), paving the way for the new Memorandum of Understanding to come into existence.
Cricket Australia and Australian Cricketers’ Association had brokered a new pay deal yesterday to bring to an end the acrimonious pay dispute between the two warring parties. However, Alistair Nicholson, the ACA chief executive, had said that the new pay plan required the approval of majority of the professional players.
