Bangladesh Cricket Board on Thursday (August 3) said that they are happy to welcome Australia in the forthcoming two-match Test series against them after the pay dispute between the players and the Cricket Australia was resolved.
“We are very delighted to welcome them,” BCB media committee chairman Jalal Younus told reporters in Mirpur on Thursday. “It is a big series for us because we don’t get the chance to play lot of Test matches and more so in our own backyard.
“So playing these two Test matches is definitely huge for our cricket.”
Jalal said that their happiness is doubled as Australia is all set to arrive after refusing to come over to Bangladesh on two occasions previously.
