Najam Sethi, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board’s Executive Committee, has been unanimously chosen to replace Shaharyar Khan as the new PCB Chairman, the board said in a media release on Thursday (May 25). The decision was part of three resolutions that were passed during the PCB’s Annual General Meeting in Lahore.
“The second resolution was adopted for a Pride of Performance award for Mr. Najam Sethi for his significant contribution in Pakistan’s cricket especially staging of PSL’s final in Lahore,” the PCB said in the media release.

In the meeting, Sethi revealed plans to stage eight PSL matches in Pakistan next year with four each in Karachi and Lahore.
