PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan captain: Fakhar Zaman started well for us, Shoaib and Talat finished off really well for us as well. We always try to give our best in every match. I think we are a strong team, and we never relax. We love to give our best in all departments of the game. Hopefully Shaheen Afridi will also get a chance later on in the series. The next game is really important, so we need to put everything into winning it, but if we can accommodate Shaheen, we will do our best to do so.
Jason Mohammed, Windies captain: I think it was a tough day. We gave away too many runs from the last two overs. Our batting was bad too. It looked like a good wicket, we didn’t have any plans. We have to stay positive and wish to comeback strong. We will try and do our basics right for the next two matches. It’s nice being here and it feels good.
Memento presented to the mayor of Karachi.
Hussain Talat, Man of the Match: Really happy. I would like to thank the people who helped me until here. Thought about this moment for very long, almost 2 years, and I just backed my own game; played the only way I know how. Worked on high-performance training, and batting in the recent past and the PSL helped me out a lot too. Glad to see it all work out today…
