Patchy New Zealand seek winning momentum

When: New Zealand vs West Indies, Match 16, on July 6 at 9:30am GMT, 3:00pm IST.

Where: The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

What to expect: The Taunton pitch is usually a belter and has already seen two hundreds and a near century in its three games so far. Expect another good batting surface with a bit in it for the bowlers.
What they said?

“We still have a possibility of qualifying, winning four games so I think we just need to go out there and fight as hard as possible for these last couple of games and hope that things go our way” – Hayley Mathews believes that her team can still make it to the knock-out phase of the tournament.

“We need to work on our fielding . . . someone needs to keep going. In bowling we need to look at our options – need the balance right and clear in our plans and what is going on” – New Zealand captain, Suzie Bates, believes her team is a team in progress.
