Rogers named Cricket Australia’s high-performance coach

Chris Rogers, the former Test opener, has been appointed Cricket Australia’s (CA) new high-performance coach in a role where he will help develop the country’s precocious talent.

The 40-year-old retired at the end of the 2015 Ashes after playing 25 Tests and scoring four centuries at an average of 42.87. Rogers has been involved in multiple coaching roles since then and been a respected commentator on ABC radio.

We are confident he can have a big impact in moulding our rising stars into future international cricketers,” he added.
