Shaminda Eranga’s bowling action has been cleared by the International Cricket Council. The Sri Lankan pacer can resume bowling with immediate effect on the international circuit once more after his action was deemed to adhere to the permissible 15 degree flexion rule.
The reassessment, conducted at the ICC accredited testing centre in Chennai, has now given him the green light to resume bowling.

Eranga played in the third Test of the England tour and the two ODIs in Ireland that followed before the suspension came into effect. The 31-year-old made his Test debut in 2011 and has played 19 Tests, 19 ODIs and 3 T20Is so far.
